We support community members who are doing their part to contribute to the containment of COVID-19 in Liberia. We applaud the volunteers who man handwashing stations at the entrances to their communities and provide soap and water for everyone entering their community, often relying on their own resources. We donated packages containing soap, face masks, rice, oil, mackerel and maggi cubes to handwashing station volunteers in several communities around Monrovia including Devine Town, Central Community, Lakpazee, 12th Street Block 4, and 12 Street Blocks A-F to support their efforts.

Period poverty is the inability to afford and access menstrual products, sanitation facilities, and education to manage menstrual health.
